September 10th 2022 - When the pandemic hit, I bought a Dodge Grand Caravan and crafted up a modular van build with my dad so that I could do some solo van camping. My first year with the build (2021) I toured the east coast of Canada, and my second year (2022) I did a northern Ontario van trip. One of my favourite points driving along Highway 11 was reaching the top of the long hill, rounding the corner that was sheer wall of Canadian Shield, seeing rolling hills covered in trees in the distance, and to the left the first sight of Lake Superior, in all of its gigantic glory.
