Clonmacnoise Monastery

Description
July 4th 2025 - On a video call with some friends from the States, they mentioned they were going to Ireland in July for a wedding and jokingly asked if anyone wanted to come babysit their one year old. Having both wanted to go to Ireland for as long as we could remember, my wife and I looked at plane tickets, just out of curiosity, and found a killer deal on some round trip flights we couldn’t turn down. Another one of our friends met up with us there and, after babysitting, we drove around the Irish countryside for a ten day trip. One of our stops included the Clonmacnoise Monastery that was founded in the 6th century. I think these top out as some of the oldest buildings I have ever seen. • Canon EOS 6D Mark II • EF 24-70mm f/2.8 II USM || 63mm focal length • 1/250sec • f/8 • ISO 100
