The End of Fjadrarglijufur Canyon

Description
July 31st 2023 - When we first started dating I jokingly said to my then girlfriend, now wife, that we should go to Iceland to celebrate our one year anniversary. Sure enough, the next year we flew to Iceland and lived in a rented camper van for a couple weeks, camping in parks near the eastern and southern coasts of the island nation. One of our stops was Fjadrarglijufur Canyon, which is around 2km long and over 100 meters deep. It has a river running along the bottom fed, in part by these two streams. The pops of blue and orange amongst the lush greens was a welcomed sight at the end of our hike along the canyon rim. • Canon EOS 6D Mark II • EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM || 28mm focal length • 1/250sec • f/6.3 • ISO 500
