Grass Spider in Collingwood

Description
August 21st 2017 - While up in Collingwood visiting my mom’s cousin, I started to notice all the little creatures in her magnificent garden, so I took out my macro lens to see what I could capture. This garden spider was inside his web for a very long time, but finally crawled out into the light where I could grab a shot. The autofocus mechanism on my macro lens is broken, so I had to manually focus this shot. Having my hand that close to a spider this big was a little unnerving, but I think it was more curious than anything. • Sony A7sii • Sigma 105mm Macro || 105mm focal length • 1/60sec • f/10 • ISO 1250
