Dunquin Pier

Description
July 11th 2025 - On a video call with some friends from the United States, they mentioned they were going to Ireland in July for a wedding and jokingly asked if anyone wanted to come babysit their one year old. Having both wanted to go to Ireland for as long as we could remember, my wife and I looked at plane tickets, just out of curiosity, and found a killer deal on some round trip flights we couldn’t turn down. Another one of our friends met up with us there and, after babysitting, we drove around the Irish countryside for a ten day trip. At the suggestion of one of the groomsmen, we checked out Dunquin Pier on the Dingle Peninsula. The views were expansive, the wind whipped through the long grasses, and I was struck by the endless ocean broken up by a number of small islands in the hazy distance. • Canon EOS 6D Mark II • EF24-70mm f/2.8L II USM || 28mm focal length • 1/320sec • f/14 • ISO 800
